Email...January 3, 2011

Mom,
The work out here is great and I absolutely love it. Right as I started emailing this morning I had a nonmember walk up to me and ask me where my boots were. And after I explained I had none (it snowed 2 ft here) she insisted on buying me some! The lord gives us teaching opportunities in ways that we cannot understand! So after we leave the library we are going down to the hardware store to get some boots :) and hopefully teach this wonderful woman. I am so proud to have got to now serve and it is a blessing here to push the young men forward to serve as well. We are the elite of men. Think about that, there are 3 billion men in this world... how many serve missions? We are the elites in the battle against Satan... and we will be victorious.

I have gotten my package and I absolutely loved it! it was so awesome! Although I got your letter before I got Aunt Cheri’s so I already knew her letter was coming :) thanks mom hahahahaha I had to move last week because the Zorads are taking in their son so we moved into Brother Van Dusen's place. He has a pure bred Golden retriever that sleeps with me at night. Her name is Annie and she has a personality a lot like Abbeys so we get along well :) I love you all and appreciate the support you have giving me. I feel the comfort day to day. I loved the photo album. It made me cry a little bit. Dalton and Chantry are going to be great guys! The Lord has prepared much for them! I love you all so much! … Remind Amanda she has a mile to run so far and I expect to see results :) jk but know that this is what I am here to do; to find others and show them Gods plan. This hit home for me. Isaiah 12:1-2. The Lord was angry with me, now he comforts me… Awesome how he does that.

I gave 2 blessings in a row last night to people in the ward. Brother Muzzy is one of those people and he reminds me too much of Grandpa Johnson. Gives me what seems to be a comfort of family when I am in his presence. I love you all and do the Lords will!
