We finally baptized one of our three baptismal dates yesterday. His name is Louie Monroy. Great guy.

This past week was good, it was the last one this transfer, i thought that Elder Ryder and i would be splitting up because he has been here 6 months already, but they have decided that he and i will be staying together for at least one more. which is okay with me cause he is whipping my butt into shape. We are doing a lot of work right now so i am excited to see where it all goes.

We are teaching this Black woman named Tabitha who is Amazing! she is wonderful! we love her a lot. she has so much spirit! and she enjoys letting us come over! she is almost like 43? i can't remember but i DO know that she is from Louisiana cause of the accent she has haha but she told us also.

I'm reading in Alma 17 right now and it is one of my favorite Chapters in the Book of Mormon, it just explains what is to expect for us missionaries and it just lays it all out for us, things we need to do, people we should see, all of it. i love it a lot!

Thanks everyone for reading this blog. i appreciate all of you. I do have a testimony that this Gospel is true... that even when we are at our worst and want to hide under a Rock, the Lord will always bless us. We must first endure as Jesus Christ endured for us. We must be wise as serpents but harmless as doves. I have a testimony that Jesus is The Christ and is the only way to Eternal life. and whoever believes this will prosper also. I know that i will one day See my family again. and i know that we will be an eternal Family forever. I love them all so much and pray for their Safety and success, in the name of our beloved Savior, our most perfect redeemer, Jesus Christ, Amen.

Elder Christensen
