An excerpt "...Half of Wrightwood is sick including Elder Simpson and I. We have missed 3 full days of work now because of it. It didn't help that yesterday we went on a hike. We thought the fresh mountain air would release some tension. It did for the day but we are sick again. Not doing too well. But I will send pictures of the hike. We did a 2800 ft incline on a 10,000 ft mountain.. it's like trying to hike Stacey's at Pebble Creek. Just a man of a trail. But it was very enjoyable. I think Elder Simpson is starting to get pneumonia. Some elders have gotten type 2 and you know that if not treated correctly you can die within in 2 weeks... So we are all busting to the Doctors trying to get things covered so none of us have to go to the hospital. I got letters from Elder Livermore and Hunter this week... I enjoyed them both quite a bit. Elder Livermore is training right now and his greenie got appendicitis within the first week of being there so he had to be put into a threesome with another companionship. How crazy huh? I'm glad I don't have to worry about that! I don't have mine anymore! HA!..."
