Dakota was able to call his family today. It was wonderful to hear his voice. He is doing well and wants to tell all his faithful followers "Hi and Merry Christmas" He is currently serving in Wrightwood, CA where the snow flies. His companion is Elder Simpson from N. Carolina. Wrightwood is similar in size to Inkom, for you Idahoans to compare. Dakota spent Christmas in a members home, playing Monopoly with the family and having dinner. He appreciates the several cards and gifts that he received today.
Thanks to Sister Hickens for sending me these photos. Her daughter Hali was in the MTC with Dakota. Dakota didn't hold back...but of course we never thought he would - or could. I have loved seeing him having such a great time.
