Safe and Happy Arrival

Dakota has safely arrived in California and has already been well-fed. Sister Godwin was kind enough to send us parents an email and the following pictures to comfort our worried hearts (ok, maybe just Jan's).





"Dear Brother and Sister Christensen,
We wanted to let you know that your son, Elder Christensen, arrived here safely in San Bernardino about 10:00 a.m. this morning. It was raining and a little cool, not the usual sunny California. We enjoyed getting acquainted. They met their trainers at the transfer meeting and then we came here to the mission home to have lunch...We are having two Christmas Devotionals for the missionaries where we will be having a catered dinner, games, and a Christmas hymn sing. We look forward to serving here in the mission with your son.
