Dear Chubbuck 7th Ward,
malo 'e lelei !!!
It is Great being out in the field. Nothing like I expected at all, But I love it! It is the most rewarding....and the most stressful job I feel that i have had so far. I Love Wrightwood. it is my second transfer here and the people are great. The town is about the size of Inkom but we have been busy... There are a lot of feeling I have for this place. Just recently we set a date with a woman and her son for baptism... She later dropped us regretfully. It hurt. It's a lot like losing a friend. But it taught me that the Lord needs time to teach her. She has the book and she Will read it. She needs time. We need time and we will pull through.
In this little town there are 7 different churches. So we are fighting hard for all we have. I think that you will love to know that in spare time( When i am not saving the world from Dark Forces........Or studying) I am playing the piano again :) Yes Sister Naumu I am using my skills :) I was a bit rusty at first but I am playing music once again :) it helps when you have a Piano in every house you walk into. and as you can tell I am also learning the language of Tongan :) I have an elder in my district... Elder Tilini, who is from the North Shore Of Hawaii who is teaching me:) There are many Hawaiians here and so I am Fed GREAT Food Often :) I love these people very much! It reminds me of home in a way. I feel like I have been to this place before.. it has a familiar scent to it. The work is plentiful and I am anxious to do all that I can! Know that you all are in my heart! I am doing well and Thinking of you all often! Thank you for the Holiday Cards they was wonderful! You all mean everything to me!
Ofa Atu,
Elder Christensen
