October 17, 2011 - No transfer - Same companion

Mommy! i am doing great! i had a very busy week this past week as we have picked up many new investigators and now have 3 baptismal dates with two girls who are in young women's. They are awesome and their little brothers we still have yet to teach and they are both in scouts. Both are above the age of 9 and both are another 2 potentials. We could have 5 baptisms by the end of the transfer! We are truly being blessed right now by the Lord in being able to teach and baptize. He truly is Our Heavenly Father and i Love Him so much. Our high council man for the Stake talked about [our investigator, Paul] on Sunday during sacrament telling us that,
"We must Reflect and ponder the Divine things in which the Lord asks of us. if we WANT to be clean and pure before the Lord, We should Dress up in our Best formal clothing to show our respect for him and his sacrifice for us."

He also says, "As we develop Reverence for Jesus Christ, we develop a feeling in our heart and respect for Deity. We develop a Love for our Lord and become Uncomfortable when his name is disgraced. We develop a love enough to Read His holy scriptures, and we develop in our heart a want for the need to be reverent, for Him." I have learned that I Love my Heavenly Father so much. i am so glad that my eyes have been opened to be coherent to his teachings and am thankful when He teaches me. I know that this gospel is the true gospel and love it with all mine heart!

I don't worry too much about anything back home right now. I am almost half way through! Isn't that crazy mom? i have almost been out about a year and it has flown right over my head! What is this? It feels like i have teleported to 10 months ahead and this is where i ended up! haha funny huh?

Love your blessed Son,

Elder Christensen
