Mom,
On Wednesday Elder Tuilagi and i were tracting and he rolled his ankle while stepping on a curb wrong. So we are stuck in the house while it is healing. I have gone exchanges nearly every day this week so i could keep busy and not go crazy from being cramped up in the house. Thursday was one of the busiest days of my life. I went with Elder Wrathall cause his companion and Tui are both sick/hurt so it worked out for us. We taught 7 lessons in one day which is very hard to do especially when they each take an hour and a half. So we were pretty busy. But I loved it so it was completely Okay:) I ran up to the mountains with the Zone Leaders to give supplies to the missionaries up there on Friday and it was Awesome to see the Colors in the Trees. It's funny when we don't have the simple things we miss them so desperately.
Saturday was a blessed day for all of us! Mara, the referral that Sister Francis gave to you to give to me, was baptized and has changed so drastically since we last taught her. It was such a great day for her to become a member of the church! You should be happy about that mom because you took part in that!:) haha
I'm glad you brought the realism of Joseph Smiths Vision up mother because I was going to talk to you about it! A member this past week was showing us a CNN talk show of a guy who pretty much makes fun of ALL religions but what was funny is he was talking about Obama's new Campaign against Romney and his Theme Being that "Mormons are Weird." He goes on to say something Like this,
"I think it funny how Christians in this day and age cannot believe that a Boy prophet can translate some gold plates, but somehow they can believe Moses talked to a burning bush. Ya, that makes Sense, Good thinking Idiots!"
How Funny Huh? But in reality it makes so much sense! If Moses could do that than why can't a boy prophet eh? Just something to think about I guess. The Lord Sets a way for ALL of his children. Kinda made me laugh watching though.
Love your Son,
Elder Christensen
